Obituary

Donald Brewster, of Wakefield, NB passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at the Upper River Valley Hospital, at the age of 70.

Born in Woodstock, NB on January 24th, 1955, Donald was the son of the late Gordon and Clara (Swim) Brewster. Survived by his loving wife and soulmate, Darlene (Tibbits), Mother of his three sons, Gwen (Fred) Anderson. Sons Kenny (Joanna) Brewster, Daniel (Kelsey) Brewster. Tag along sons, Adam Tibbits (Michelle Gallant), Mitchell Tibbits; Grand children, Hudson Brewster, Harrison Brewster, Layla Brewster, Peyton Brewster. Brothers; Dale Brewster, James Brewster. Sisters; Jean (Brewster) Mackenzie, Cathy Brewster. Brother-in-law, Larry Tibbits. As well as several Nieces, Nephews, and extended family. All who Loved Donald dearly.

Besides his parents, Donald was predeceased by his Mother-in-law and father-in-law; Earl & Evalyn Tibbits. His oldest Son, Christopher Brewster. Brother-in-law & Sister-in-law's; Roger & Shirley Tibbits, Brian & Marsha Tibbits.

Although his wings were ready, our hearts were not prepared for the loss of such a great man. He will be in our hearts and minds forever until we meet again.

Donald was raised on the family farm in Armond, NB. Growing up in a large family, he had many cherished memories of hard work and laughter. After leaving the farm, Donald pursued a career in trucking. He worked for Hartland Agromart Ltd and many local potato farmers during the fall harvest.

Donald was a proud Toronto Maple Leaf Fan and enjoyed gardening later in life. His proudest accomplishments were being a husband to Darlene, a father to his three sons, and later in life becoming Grampy Brewster.

Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street Woodstock, NB. with visitation on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 5pm - 8 pm.

The Funeral Service will begin at 2 pm on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at the Funeral Home with Pastor Kurtis Kent officiating, with interment in the Wakefield Cemetery.

If desired, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
