Dominique Armand Seca

Passed away at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville, NB on April 4, 2010.

Born in North Minto, NB in 1929, he was the son of Alfredo and Zelinda (DiNardo) of Italy.

He is survived by his wife Beverly (West); three sons, Perry (Murielle) of Edmundston, NB, W. Alfred (Fred) (Heather ) of Woodstock, NB, Gino (Patti MacAuly) of Halifax, NS; one daughter Denyse (Stuart Shaw) of Wakefield, NB; four grandsons, Chris of Edmundston, NB, Dustin of Moncton, NB, Zane and Colby Shaw of Wakefield, NB; one grand-daughter, Renée of New Hampshire; one brother Nardine (Frances) of Fredericton, NB; one niece, Trina and one nephew John.

He was a well respected teacher and educator in the school of Minto, Dorchester (principal), Edmundston (vice-principal), Woodstock (vice- principal). He received his education in Minto NB, St. Francis Xavier University, NS (BSc) and the University of NB, Fredericton, NB, (BEd & MEd).

He was an avid Toronto Maple Leaf and New York Yankees fan and a great lover of animals, especially cats, of which he always had a few.

He was a member of St. Gertrude's Catholic Church in Woodstock. There will be no visitation by request of the family.

Family and friend's are invited to the funeral service to be held on Thursday April 8, 2010 at 11 am. at St. Gertrude's Catholic Church.     Father Bill Brenan will be officiating.
