HATT, Delbert Wayne - of Woodstock, NB formerly of Pictou, NS passed away at his home in Woodstock on Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at the age of 65 surrounded by his loving family and pets.

Delbert grew up in Woodstock and was educated at a Technical school in Saint John. He then worked diligently for 34 years at Michelin Tire Company in Granton until his retirement to support his family (who all received University degrees). Delbert was courageous throughout his illness and throughout his life. He loved his family intensely. He will be deeply missed. Delbert is survived by his wife Jacqueline Hatt; one daughter Darcy Anne Yeo ( Fred ) of Dexter, Maine, USA; one son Daniel Hatt (Coleen) Biddeford, Maine, USA; his Mother Cleda Hatt of Woodstock. NB; one brother Arthur Hatt of Woodstock, NB; one sister Joyce Walker ( Joe ) Presque Isle, Maine USA; two grandchildren Coley Hatt and Rebecca Hatt. Delbert is also survived by his beloved family Yorkies Bailey, Rex and Whisky. Delbert was pre-deceased by his father Walter Hatt.

The funeral service was held on Friday, September 16, 2011 from  the St. Gertrude's Catholic Church. Father John Keoughan officiated.
