With broken hearts, the family of Delbert Clair Davenport share news of his sudden passing on June 26, 2025.
Born February 12, 1954, the son of Louis and Gladys (Parks) Davenport, Delbert was predeceased by his parents, Louis Davenport and Gladys Harvie; brother Clayton Davenport, infant siblings Norma, Louis, and Trueman; and in-laws Woodie and Catherine Kitchen, Roger and Ted Kitchen, and JoAnne Kitchen.
Left to mourn are his wife Carol; son Derek and wife Melissa; daughter Iris and husband Dr. William Bonfiglio; siblings Sarah (Malcolm) Todd, Clifford (Valerie) Davenport, M. Richard (Brenda) Davenport, Sandra (Ervin) Boxwell, Marshall (Sandra) Davenport, and Sheila (Brian) Estey; sisters-in-law Nancy Davenport, Betty (Ted) Kitchen, and Marjory Hume (Roger Kitchen); brother-in-law Eric Kitchen; nieces and nephews; and countless friends.
Fiercely loyal and proud of his family, Delbert spent his happiest moments looking after those he loved in any way he could.
Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB.
Visitation will be held at the Scott Funeral Home, on Sunday June 29, 2025 from
6 pm - 8 pm.
Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025 at 1 pm
from the Scott Funeral Home Chapel.
Pastor Leonard Cousins will be officiating, with interment in the Kirk Cemetery.
