The death of David Douglas Montgomery of Oakville, husband of the late Joyce Marie (York) Montgomery, occurred on Monday, August 16, 2004, at the age of 63. Born in Bull Lake, he was the son of Clara (Tompkins) Montgomery and the late Lewis Albert Montgomery. David is survived by a daughter, Tammy Shaw (Trevor) of Taymouth; a son, Randy Montgomery (Verna) of Oakville; his mother, Clara Montgomery of Newbridge; two brothers, Thomas Montgomery (Edna) of Bull Lake and James Montgomery (Linda) of Wicklow; two sisters, Peggy Murphy (Paul) of Newburg and Mary Marr of Newbridge; four grandchildren, Joshua, Alicia, Samantha, and Felicia; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM from the Scott Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Kenneth Stoddard officiating. Interment will take place in the Brookville Cemetery.
