Darlene Alice Varney  of Dead Creek, NB passed away at Saint John Regional Hospital in Saint John on Friday, September 13, 2019, at the age of 54. Darlene is survived by husband Brian H. Varney; daughters Selena Grant, Canterbury, NB Trina Dorish (Joe), Canterbury, NB; Vanessa Varney (Jason), Rusagonish, NB; Sons Michael Varney, MacKenzie Grant, Fredericton, NB; Sisters Lena Collicott (Basil), Brooks, AB Alice Scott (Paul), PEI, Ethel Grant, Hartland, NB Linda Chapman (Curtis), Calgary, AB; Brothers Harry Grant (Rose), Oakville, NB Jack Grant ( Lois) ,Canterbury, NB Nelson Grant (Kristie), Moncton, NB Charles Grant Edmonton AB ; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Darlene was predeceased by herparents Nathan and Reta ( Bigger) Grant; brothers Lewis Grant, Nathan Jr. Grant; son Brian Jr. Varney; sister Mary Jane Grant.

Darlene is Resting at the Scott Funeral Home , 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB , with visitation on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 pm.  (no Funeral service to be held), with Interment on Wednesday at 2:00pm in the Canterbury Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Canterbury Cemetery or a memorial of the donors choice
