BARRETT, Cora Evelyn - of Woodstock, NB passed away at her home in Woodstock on Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at the age of 79.

Cora is survived by her husband Malcolm Barrett; by her two daughters, Sharon (Terry) Smith of Wolfville, NS; Catherine (Al) Shingler of Bedell, NB, and her two sons, Bill (Jocelyn) Barrett of  Upper Waterville, NB and Ed (Melissa) Barrett of Woodstock, NB; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; six sisters, Georgia Savage of Fredericton, NB, Donna O'Neill of Plaster Rock, NB, Ruth (Bud) Albright of Scarborough, ON, Vienna (Edward) Hall of Woodstock, NB, Rose Marie (Dr. Harry Rich) Rich of Moncton, NB, and Marilyn Dryden of Buctouche, NB; one brother, Herb (Muriel) Moorcroft of Gander, NL.

Cora is pre-deceased by her birth parents Ernest and Glendora Cole; her adopted parents Whitney and Ann Moorcroft; three sisters, Iris Boyd, Hazel Mogard, and Glenna Mazerall; three brothers, James Cole, Emelus Cole, and Leon Cole.

The funeral service was held on Saturday, May7, 2011 from the Woodstock Baptist Church. Rev. Leonard Cousins officiated, with interment in the Upper Waterville Cemetery.
