Cleda Rachel Hatt, age 91 of Woodstock, NB, slipped away peacefully into the arms of her God on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the Upper River Valley Hospital.
She was born in England on August 21, 1922 to the late Fred and Martha (Carthew) Rosevear. Cleda is survived by: one son, Arthur Hatt; one daughter, Joyce Walker; sister, Isabella Estabrook; daughter- in-law, Jacqueline Hatt; sisters-in-law, Nelma Rosevear and Dorothy Rosevear; three grandchildren, Darcy(Fred) Yeo, Andy (Sharon) Monahan and Daniel (Coleen) Hatt; three great grandchildren, Coley, Rebecca and Sophia; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Edna Prosser. Also, three little Yorkies, Rex, Whiskey and Bailey were very special to Cleda-they couldn`t wait to get across the street to "Grams."
Besides her parents, Cleda was pre-deceased by: her husband Walter Hatt; a son Delbert Hatt; five brothers, Jack, Tom, Gerald, Ronald, and Dennis Rosevear; sisters-in-law, Irene Rosevear and Doris Rosevear; son-in-law, Joseph Walker and brother-in-law James Estabrook.
Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB, with visiting on Monday, Sept. 23, 2013 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 pm from Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Justin Kim will be officiating, with interment in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery.
