Obituary

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the death of our beloved mother, Christine Joanne Marie Johnson, which occurred on Thursday, August 30, 2018. Mom was born in Woodstock on March 3, 1973, and graduated from Woodstock High School in 1991. Following high school, she moved to Saint John, and after marrying our dad, Jared Johnson, she had us four within the next six years: Caleb (Michaela), Logan, Zachary (Gabby Trecartin) and Hannah. She then moved back to Canterbury, where we spent our school years, and recently moved closer to her parents in Limestone.

Mother had just recently graduated from a Medical Transcription course, and was employed with Dr. Milton; previous to that she worked at the Bank of Montreal for several years.

She enjoyed watching movies and television at home, spending evenings around a campfire, and many other outdoor activities. She spent countless hours attending our various sporting events, as a manager, spectator, and our biggest fan. Her greatest joy was spending time with us, the rest of her relatives, and close friends whom she really counted as family too. We will miss her every day for the rest of our lives, but will cherish the love that she had for us, and the good memories that will last a lifetime.

In addition to the four of us, Mother is survived by her parents, Ollie and Lorraine Boone of Limestone, and Joanne and Ken Brewer of Richmond Corner; her siblings, Derrick Boone (Kathy), Trevor Boone (Kim), Michelle Calhoun (Nick), Arthur Boone, Diana Hood (Greg), Annie Mason (Todd), Billy Boone (Sarah), Kathy Archer (Jamie), and Jessica Boone; special family member, Ronald Furrow; and a large extended family that includes several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. She was predeceased by her father, John Richard.

We invite you to join us in celebrating Mother's life at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, on Sunday, September 2, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-9 PM. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM from the Scott Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Greg Williams officiating. For those who wish, remembrances to the Canterbury High School Athletic Department would be appreciated.
