Charles Blair Matthews - of Woodstock passed away at Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville, NB on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at the age of 93.

Charles is survived by two daughters, Victoria Hicks; Nancy Seamans (Donald); two sons Robert Matthews (Mary); Thomas Matthews (Hala). He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Charles was pre-deceased by his parents, William and Sarah (Hanlon) Matthews, and his wife Gwendolyn Matthews.

Rested at the Scott Funeral Home , 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB.

There was no visitation by request of the family,   a private Memorial Service was held  with Rev. Debra Baker officiating.
