Cathy Jean Laskey of Woodstock passed away at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville on Thursday, April 26, 2018. Born at Woodstock, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Joyce (VanDine) Kennedy.

Cathy is survived by two sons, Corey A. Laskey (Nicole) and Jamie R. Laskey, both of Woodstock; a brother, Charles Kennedy of Woodstock; sisters Mary Ellen Gillespie, Carol Ann Kennedy, Janet Pauline Kennedy, all of Woodstock, and Tammy Joyce Kennedy of Fredericton; her chosen children, Ray DesRoches and Debbie Ginson; grandchildren Hailey, Brielle, Braelyn and Hunter; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Cathy was predeceased by her fiance, Ronald Nicholson; a chosen son, Allen Carmichael; and a nephew, Mark McElroy.

Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB , with visiting on Saturday from 7-9 PM and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 11:00 AM from St. Gertrude's Church. Interment will take place in the Marne Cemetery. www.scottfh.com.
