C. Evelyn (Price) Hall of Woodstock passed away at Carleton Manor in Woodstock, NB on Thursday, April 19, 2018, at the age of 96. Evelyn was born in Wales on September 3, 1921, daughter of the late Thomas and Annie (James) Williams. She and her family immigrated to Canada when she was 6 years old. Evelyn was a long-time member of the Woodstock Baptist Church.

Evelyn is survived by two daughters, Shirley (John) Somers of Brantford, Ontario, and Sharon (Andrew) Long of Somerville, NB, and one son, Gordon Price of Richmond Corner, NB; three daughters-in-law, Jane Price, Sharon Price and Bonnie Price; brothers, Emlyn (Joanna) Williams, David Williams, Watcyn (Patricia) Williams, Edward (Shirley) Williams, and sisters, Lettie (Chester) Ivey, Winnifred Kearney, and Dorothy (Bud) Burrell. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter, several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she was pre-deceased by her first husband, Fred Price and her second husband Alan Hall; three sons, Vernon Price, Donald Price and Arthur Price; three brothers, John Williams, Leslie Williams, James Williams, and a granddaughter, Angela Dawn Mabey.

Evelyn is resting at the Scott Funeral Home , 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB, with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday at 2:00 pm from Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Leonard Cousins will be officiating, with interment in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Woodstock Baptist Church Building Fund.
