It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bernice Bride Jackson of Woodstock, NB, at the Upper River Valley Hospital on Saturday, September 26, after a short illness.

Bernice is survived by her husband, John Jackson; her daughter, Michelle (Brian) Jackson; her grandchildren, Delilah (Justus), Mariah (Fernando), and Gavin; and her great-grandchildren, Levi, Lyla, Liam, and Harrison. She is also survived by her sisters, Winnie, Melinda, Yvonne, and Brenda, and brothers, Alex, Simon, Terry, and Jake;  and many nieces and nephews.

Bernice was predeceased by her son, Justin; her parents, Blanche and Ethelred; her in-laws, John and Glenna; her sisters, Ida, Nicey, and Ann; and her brother, Vaden.

Bernice dedicated her life to her family. She raised her children and helped raise her grandchildren, always making the people she loved her greatest priority. She shared 52 years of marriage with her beloved husband, John.

Born and raised in Newfoundland, Bernice always held a special place in her heart for her family and the home she came from. She loved gardening, going to bingo, playing dominoes, and getting an Iced-Capp. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and making sure they were cared for. Her love and devotion will be deeply missed and forever cherished. We are honoured to have known and experienced her love, and grateful to carry it with us always.

Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB

There will be no visitation or Service at this time.

Cremation will take place at the Scott Funeral Home  Crematorium.
