Barbara Joan Richard passed away on July 15th, 2026, at Hospice House Fredericton with her two daughters by her side.

Barb was known to many as Barbie and especially to her husband as his Barbie doll.

She was born in Sussex, NB, on June 19th, 1956, to the late Ronald and Florence Pollock. She is predeceased by her parents, her brother Noble Pollock, and her son-in-law Mark Tomah.

Barb spent her life serving others through the Lord, making sure she spread her love, patience, forgiveness, and kindness wherever she went. Barb loved her animals and never missed an opportunity to show photos of her beloved fur babies.

Barb is survived by her loving husband Tony Richard, daughters Caressa Knox, Deanna Knox (Derrick) Grandchildren Whitney Knox (Hero), Brittney Tomah, Joshua Smith (Laura), Patrick Smith, Harley Knox ( Sydney), Samuel Knox (Katie), Zachary Knox (Kayla) RaeAnna (Ethan) along with Great Grandchildren Liam, Autumn, Amelia, Ellie, Fjola, Alex.

Barb will be missed by her husband, daughters, sister Joanne Rasmussen (Jan), nephews Dana ( Shannon), Jason (Tina), Adam (Kerry), Marilee, and all of their children.

Barb's memory will continue to shine like sparkles!

Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

The family would like to thank all the staff and volunteers of the Hospice House Fredericton for the impeccable and compassionate care they gave to Barbie in the last few months of her life.
