ADAMS, BARBAR REGINA (née DuJohn): It is with profound sadness that we announce her passing.

Barbara (b Nov. 21, 1938 - d June 25, 2026) was born in North Minto, New Brunswick, daughter of Louise Fulton and Vincent DuJohn. Preceded by her long time, beloved husband, Neil, a devoted and loving Mother to Karen and Shelly Woods (née Adams) and loving Mother-in-law to John. Adoring Grandmother to Katherine (Katie), Jessica, and Susan.

She loved her blended and extended family very much, with whom she was very close, which includes her brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews from the DuJohn, Mann and Fulton families.

Barbara, a vibrant and beloved woman, led a wonderful and diverse life. She served in the RCAF where she met Neil, her husband and partner in life of 68 years. Together they lived across the globe from Ontario to France and the United States. Eventually, Barb and Neil settled in Woodstock, NB where they successfully owned and operated the Irving Big Stops at Bulls Creek and Houlton, Maine, before retiring to travel and enjoy life. A loving wife to Neil, she spent many years caring for him after his stroke in 2003.

Barb was an avid reader her whole life. She loved reading on her iPad, which enabled her to stay completely informed as to world events. Barb had a tremendous sense of humor and a sharp intellect and wit. She loved music, movies, travel, and the storytelling of days gone by.

The biggest thrill of her life was being a Grandma. She adored her granddaughters and loved it when they came to visit. Whether having fun around the pool, the fire pit, or the kitchen table, laughing, joking, and having meaningful conversations, she treasured every single moment spent with them.

From humble beginnings to a highly successful adult life, Barb lived a full life and has now joined her beloved Neil in eternity. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends and will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

There will be no Visitation or Service at this time. A celebration of Life will take place at a later time.
