It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father Andrew Howard Varney.  He passed away at the Upper River Valley Hospital on, October 12, 2023, at the age of 83.

Andrew was predeceased by his partner Joan Diamond, his parents Melzie and Rose (Williams)Varney, two brothers Marshall and Ralph, and two sisters Edith Varney and Marian  Varney.

He is survived by his son Jeffrey Andrew Varney and 3 daughters Annette (Stanley) Power, Edith (Travis) MacDonald, and Tammy Black. Andrew has 7 grandchildren Ashley, Melanie, Destiny, Kristopher, Tammy, Marisa, and Damian, and 7 great-grandchildren Lomond, Piper, Xavier Sebastian, Travis, Skylar, Benson, Jackson, and Bennett. He is also survived by his stepchildren David (Amanda) Diamond, Joe (Angela) Diamond, and Jamie Murray.

Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB.

By request, there will be no visitation or Funeral Service at this time.

Cremation will take place at the Scott Funeral Home Crematorium.

The family will gather at a later date for a time of remembrance.
