Alfred Cliff Grant of Canterbury passed away at his home on Sunday, November 26, 2006, at the age of 68. Alfred is survived by his mother, Ida M. Grant of Carleton Manor, Woodstock; three sons, Timothy Grant of Woodstock, Mark Grant (Darla) of Woodstock, and Troy Grant (Audra) of Woodstock; a sister, Hattie Cheney (Lawrence) of Jacksonville; a brother, Claude Grant (Bertha) of Canterbury; seven grandchildren, Tyler, Kristen, Trinity, Tamara, Alexis, Natasha, and Victoria; a great granddaughter, Asia-Leigh; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm from the Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Steven Hoyt will be officiating, with interment in the Canterbury Cemetery.
